This world is not worth living for! Its honors, its riches, its glories are things ever passing away; but the love of Jesus is as eternal as Himself. Oh, live for eternity! The glory of this world is fading, and is soon gone, and gone forever! Again I say, live for a glorious eternity! If you could have the glory, the wealth, and the honors of this world laid at your feet--how short would be the empty enjoyment of them. -Mary Winslow

We're Almost Members!!!
More good news, yesterday was Chris' 21st Birthday (whoever reads my blog, could you wish him a Happy Birthday please??)!! In our family, it's our Birthday until we get our cake, so he hasn't had his cake yet, but I will make it for him sometime soon. It will be his favorite (of course) my homemade Old Fashion Carrot Cake!!
Seeing as it is rather late, I suppose I should go, just wanted to to stop by and say, "Hi"!!!!
Alive because of His Blood,
Bekah

Thank you for commenting!
There are some rules you must follow, though:
I do not want any arguments or debates, no cursing, no using God's Holy Name in vain, no using my Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ's name in vain.
If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
However, you may converse nicely, just be very careful how you word everything>:(
I would also like to know who you are when you leave a comment please, so please write your name.
God bless and thanks for stoppin' by!!

ReplyDeleteHey...I have been reformed since about my junior year in college...It took a while...but I see God's Sovereignty as something that comforts me. Knowing God is in control helps me get through the crappy times in life. My family is not reformed...my younger brother is probably the closest...bc I have talked more about it with him...But everyone believes God is sovereign, practically speaking, they may just not say they believe in it.
ReplyDeleteCool! Yes, I totally agree, God's Sovereignty definitely brings comfort to me as well! I pray your family's eyes are opened up to the Doctrines of Grace. So...let's see, what have you been up to?
ReplyDeleteGod Bless!
