My latest status on my Facebook is: 'why is it that when I have time to write a blog post I can't think of anything to write? Anyone got any ideas?'  My bff, Guitargirl, commented and told me to write a list of my favorite songs that begin with the letter 'S'.  Since she's so cool (and bossy, LOL, jk:)) I am going to do so:

I Had A Cold/Questionnaire

You know you're loved when your family miss the sound of your voice, lol.  On the 12th, I lost my voice which was the beginning of a bad cold.  Mommy and Chris were so bored because I couldn't talk and they didn't know what to do with themselves and were so thankful when I was able to talk again, lol.
At night time, Chris and I always hang together, he plays his game while we chat but because I couldn't talk he didn't know what to do and got sick of playing his game so turned it off and we watched something on television, don't remember what it was though.
They tell me I'm the life of the party ;)  Chris also tells me I have the 'cool factor', lol. 
Anyways, I'm pretty much over my cold now so that's awesome.  It was kind of funny because Chris and I got a cold on the same day, however, mine was a lot worse than his.  The worst part of it only lasted a couple of days, so that was good.
I thank God that I'm over my cold and I thank Him for the family and friends that He has blessed me with, 'cause they are so totally the BEST!!!
I'm glad to be over my cold and so are the rest of my family.  Guitargirl is too so I can e-mail her again ;)  Well, so are my other girls :)
Speaking of Guitargirl, she did a questionnaire on her blob so I decided to steal it from her and do it on my blob :)

Favorite clothing?  Long full skirts that turn around :)  Long full dresses that turn around, lacy tops, baby-doll style tops, cowgirl boots, sandals...

Favorite restaurant?  Applebee's.

What was your favorite toy as a child?  Babydolls, a little play kitchen.

Chocolate or Vanilla?  Now, vanilla.

What is under your bed?  I don't know, a few little balls, lol.

What do you usually do in the evening?  Ya know, stuff.

We Have LOTS of Snow!!

So, what do you do on a weekend when you can't go anywhere because of snow?  And it looks like this outside:

 

 

Well, first of all, you thank God for the beautiful snow!!
Then, you open your front door and see little birdie footprints and thank God for that cute little scene:

Plus, you have to make Apple Fritters for your brother because he has been wanting some and you love him so much :)

 

You also love your Daddy so much that you make him Sugar Cookies because he's been wanting cookies and he didn't really care for the Fritters:

 

On a night when you're going to have Cheeseburger Soup for supper you HAVE to make homemade white bread to go along with it because that's the best!:

Of course, you also love your Mommy so much, but she likes all the things you make :)

And that, my friends, is what you do on a glorious snowy weekend when you can't go anywhere.  However, you should always praise the Lord no matter what!

Oh oh!  I got a new CD the other day!  It's Andrea Bocelli's "Amore"  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!  (Even if he does sing a duet with Christina Aguilera and I don't like her voice but can bear it on that song).

We Have Snow Again :)

Howdy peeps!
Hope you all are doing swell :)  I know I am!
Is there anything new with me?  No, not really.  I've been 20 for 10 days now :-D
In a previous post of some sort, I said something about not wanting chocolate ever again and then told you I would tell you why.
The day after Christmas, Mommy and I went out for awhile and I felt terrible, felt like I was going to be sick at any moment.  Earlier in the day I had eaten some chocolate cookies that were so good (at the time, now thinking about them, they're disgusting) and I don't know if I ate too many or what happened exactly.  Anyways, that night while Mommy and I were out doing whatever it was we were doing, yes my friends, I got the sick in the car!  It was, obviously, extremely disgusting, poor Mommy too.  I don't really want to go into detail but let's just say it was ummm, definitely the 'last thing' I ate....plus, Mommy and I had gotten Peppermint Mocha Lattes from Starbies and now I don't want those again either. 
I'm actually kind of thankful for it to be honest.  Ever since then, I've only craved healthy food.  God works in mysterious ways sometimes :)
In other news, I once again have a Facebook, so that's exciting stuff :)
Oh my friends, there were a few things that I wanted to write in my blob post but I cannot remember what they were, so I will get offa here now seeing as Chris and I have a Football game comin' on in about 1 minute, Fulham v Tottenham. 
I would do my usual and look for a picture or somethin' but ya know.....ya know?

Our Snow Is Almost Gone :(

About a week or so ago, I got my Christmas gift from my friend, Meghan :)  It's a scarf and I decided to, once again, have my stuffed animals model it.  Brittany bear also modeled another scarf that I got from amazon.com.  I got two other things from there, but it would've been weird if they modeled 'em so they didn't.

My Latest Creations

I wanted to write a post but didn't really know what to write so after looking through a few pictures on our 'puter I was inspired!
I have some leftover yarn from things I've crocheted so decided to crochet a scarf and see if we could sell it on ebay or an online store Mommy is creating.  However, I changed my mind and decided to give it as a gift to my friend and 'sis', Monica for Christmas.

Here it is in the works, but almost done.

Wouldn't ya know it?  Brittany bear offered to model it for me:)  What do ya think?  It really is quite warm, she told me....no, not really, had you goin' though, didn't I??  It's kinda long (like the style is these days) so you can fold it over and pull it through.  It is warm though.

As a couple people who read my blog know, my Memaw has been giving me painting lessons.  She told me to choose the picture I wanted to paint and this is it:

Memaw said that it wouldn't be her choice for a first painting, lol, but if that's what I wanted then we'd do it.  So, a couple of weeks ago we finished it:

Now to answer your questions:
I haven't read the homesteading books by the Castleberry's, but I have heard of them and we do have some of their courtship books. We live above Lexington in Kentucky. We've actually been to Tennessee before, we would go there on vacation sometimes. We haven't gone there in a loooooong time though, we like Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It takes us about 5 hours to get there, we like it though.
We didn't plan on moving far from where we live now, we just wanted some farm land (we still plan on moving sometime though, in about a year or so and we still hope to move to a farm). Hhmmm, why we decided not to move is because we just didn't think that this is the time to move. We decided God didn't want us to move yet. Of course, He is the One that kept us from doing so. We know He has a plan and we're trusting Him.
Yeah, I don't like big immodest beads either;)
My brothers are 22 and 20.
I went to your blog! I have it under "My Favorite Blogs", I really like it. I didn't get to read all of your devotions though. You and your brother seem really close, Chris and I are the same way:)
For us, the Lord worked through Chris to bring us to Reformed Faith. It's a long story!
I will post some pictures of the sky when I figure out how to;) which might actually be very soon. Mommy said she would help me!
I might write another post later tonight, I finally have more things to say. Yeah, so the reason I haven't written in a while was because I didn't really know what to say! So we'll see!
